Forrest Hood (Fob) James

Fob James played his college ball at Auburn (1952-55) where he was an All-American halfback.  James played one year with Montreal in 1956, and had a pretty good season, scoring 8 touchdowns - 4 rushing and 4 receiving.  He also returned punts and kickoffs.   After football, James worked as a civil engineer and later went into politics.  James served two terms as Governor of Alabama, one as a Democrat from 1979 to 1983 and once as a Republican from 1995 to 1999.
