Dick Huffman was an excellent two way lineman who played in the CFL for Winnipeg and Calgary from 1951 to 1957. Huffman was a two time West All-Star at offensive tackle in 1952 and 1954, and a three time West All-Star at defensive tackle in 1953, 1954 and 1955. The overlap of the years in 1954 makes Huffman one of only a handful of players to win both offenisve and defensive All-Stars in the same season. Besides playing both sides of the ball on the line, Huffman was sometimes pressed into duty as a receiver and has a touchdown reception in 1954. Prior to coming to the CFL, Huffman played four seasons in the NFL (1947-50) with the Los Angelas Rams. Dick Huffman was elected to the Canadian Football Hall of Fame in 1987.
