Sylvaine Girard

Girard was drafted in the first round (fifth oerall) by Montreal in the 1999 CFL college draft and spent his entire eight year career (1999-2006) with the Als.  Early in his career, Girard was used mainly on special teams, but his abilityt to catch the ball gained him more playing time at receiver and his best seasons came in 2003 (29 catches) and 2004 (31 catches).
