Out of Tennessee State, Chuck Gavin played one season with the BC Lions in 1959. Gavin played guard and tackle on offence as well as defensive end on defence. Gavin recorded two fumble recoveries. In 1960 Gavin joined the Denver Broncos of the newloy formed AFL where he played four seasons (1960-63) before a knee injury ended his playing career.
Chuck Gavin passed away on December 1, 2012.
