Jack Espenship played college ball at Florida State and was a 17th round pick of the San Diego Chargers in the 1961 AFL College Draft. Espenship ended up coming to Canada and played two years with the Alouettes (1961-62). Espenship played mainly defensive back, but sw action on offense as well, more as a pass receiver than as a rusher. Espenship also handled some of the punting for the Als during his two seasons.
