Edward (Skip) Diaz was born in Hawaii and is one of the great sports heroes of that state. Diaz went on to play his college football at Oregon State and played in the 1963 Hulu Bowl. Diaz then went on to play one season in theCFL with BC in 1968.
Besides plaingfootball, Diaz was a blackbelt in Karate, an outstanding swimmer and excelled in track in both high achool and at Oregon State.
Following hisplaying career, Diaz returned to Hawaii where he spent many yars coaching high schoo football, including 17 art his alma matter of Farrington.
Edward (Skip) Diaz passed away on August 30, 2014.
