Pee Wee Chantler

After playing three years at Queen's University, Chantler went on to play two years (1927-28) for the Toronto Argonauts.  In 1929, Chantler moved across town to play for Balmy Beach. In 1930, Chantler tried out with the Kitchener Panthers of the ORFU, but had to retire due to his health.  Chantler played and coached the St. Thomas Intermediate team in 1931 as they won the Candadian Intermediate Football title.  Chantler tried a comeback at the senior level with the Hamilton Tigers in 1932, but didn't make it and returned to St. Thomas where he played quarterback and led them to their second straight Intermediate title..  In 1933, Chantler played at least in exhibition games with Toronto Balmy Beach.
