Frank Andruski

After playing his college ball at Utah, Frank Andruski was drafted in the fourteenth round of the 1965 NFL draft as a running back.  Andruski came to the CFL and joined the Stampeder in 1966 where he quickly became one of the best defensive backs in the league.  Andruski played eight years in Calgary (1966-73), winning six West All-Star selections (1967, 1968, 1969, 1971, 1972 and 1973) and three CFL All-Star selections (1967, 1968 and 1971).  Andruski recorded 30 interceptions, returning four of them for touchdowns including an 105 yard return in his final season.  Andruski also had two touchdowns on fumble returns.  Andruski was also one of the top kick blockers of his time, recording six of them in his career.
